A bit about me:
I combine engineering with design thinking
I'm a mechanical engineer with a passion for product design — two fields I see not as separate disciplines, but as complementary perspectives on the same goal: products that work well and resonate with the people who use them.
Engineering gives me the analytical foundation — feasibility, structure, function. Design keeps me focused on user needs, context and experience. The combination shapes how I work: pragmatically, strategically, with attention to both the technical and the human side of a solution.
What Drives Me ?
Every challenge has a solution. I believe at least one exists — the work is finding it. Wicked problems that overwhelm at first sight are exactly the ones that pull me in.
A bad loser, in the best way. I can't accept unfinished work. And since every action teaches something, each attempt gets me closer to the solution.
I dare first, learn fast. Starting Mechanical Engineering in the first months of Covid. Jumping in as team tennis coach with little experience. Moving countries for my master's. Choosing courses by interest, never by ease.
How I Work
I start with the big picture. Before diving into specifics, I try to understand the whole landscape first. Others have usually faced similar problems before me — I'd rather learn from their experience than reinvent it, and sometimes that's exactly how you notice a gap they missed, or find a new way to combine what already exists. That overview is what I steer by: it tells me where the effort is worth it — and what to deliberately leave out.
I question the "given." I find it hard to accept circumstances as fixed. I hope to work with people who share that itch to keep improving things — it's a drive I try to bring every day.
Integrity matters to me. It's something I need from my environment, and something I work hard to give back.
I want to stand behind the result. For every project, my aim is that the team and I can be proud of what we delivered — and I'm willing to put in the extra effort at the end to get there.
