Solid Edge, 3-D Printing,
An endeavor to create a contemporary water boiler that seamlessly integrates into today's kitchen aesthetics and functionality.
Context
For my first project I wanted to work with products that I use daily, to understand the needs of a design. My goal was to create something both functional and aesthetically pleasing, something that would seamlessly integrate into everyday life. I started by observing my daily habits and identifying the items that played a crucial role in my routine. This exploration led me to focus on enhancing user experience and efficiency, aiming to address common frustrations and improve convenience.
Task
Throughout the project, I prioritized sustainable materials and innovative technologies, striving to make choices that were not only beneficial to the user but also kind to the environment. It was a learning curve filled with challenges, but each obstacle taught me valuable lessons in problem-solving and creativity. By the end, I felt more connected to the design process and excited about the endless possibilities that lay ahead in the world of product design.
Scope
Deliver a product design, test ergonomics with physical prototypes and itertate form and colour.
